To write a subscript in a textbox in the desktop version of Mathematica, all you had to press was Ctrl + -. For the Wolfram Cloud, this does not work and I cannot find any way to write a subscript or superscript in a textbox to display like it would on the desktop version. Does anyone know how to do this?
Try evaluating Subscript[a,x].
The keyboard shortcuts won’t work in a browser. I don’t believe there’s a button to do this either.
As a final piece of advice, don’t use Subscripts in code. Always, in every programming language, use descriptive variable names. Traditional math notation is (almost always) not good programming notation.
